EX-BOYFRIEND JEANS

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! How is everyone doing lately? Lately I’ve been on a routine of intern, sleep, work, sleep, and repeat… who else is on the same boat? Other than that I’ve been trying to plan my birthday weekend but that’s not until September!! Two-ish months until I turn 21!

Today’s look I wore to work (Anthropologie) and I thought it wouldn’t do because I thought it was too casual, but I got compliments from my co workers and managers so I guess it passed! I’ve ordered some pieces online (because they don’t carry a lot of XL/16’s in store) so when they come – and if they fit – I will be posting some OOTD’s with them! I also found out one of my friends mistook my jeans for the store's "ex-boyfriend" jeans (which actually is a thing, I checked in the stock room) so that was pretty cool since all I've heard were BOYFRIEND jeans! Since I only have about two months left with the company I want to get as much Anthro inspo as possible!

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! Just got home from my first day of interning at Dress for Success! I learned so much in 4 hours and I can’t wait to continue my progress – and begin suiting clients! I shadowed my manager during an appointment and I was trying to hold down my excitement the entire time, I hope no one noticed my over-enthusiasm…

Today’s ootd includes a semi-late trend that I saw of girls wearing a while ago. I don’t know if you guys know this about me but I’m kind of a late trender (if that’s even a thing), for some reason I start liking things once they’re not trendy anymore LOL. Anyone else on the same boat?

SUNDAY MARS

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! Felt nostalgic when I found my Bruno Mars tank I made for his concert last year – it was such an epic show I don’t think I’ll ever forget it! And today I’m meeting for dinner with my friends to plan my birthday weekend to Los Angeles so I wanted a cool and casual outfit since I wasn’t sure what type of restaurant we were going to meet at J

After a long morning at work I just wanted to spoil myself with a fab lunch from Whole Foods (which is my life btw) and as I was walking down the street I noticed a lot of palm tree-like trees which reminded me of this tank I made! I didn’t know where I put it until I saw something sticking out of the bottom of my closet… I remember watching Bruno’s videos when I was inspired to photoshop his name with pictures of tropical vibes so after printing it out on one of those special paper things I ironed it onto this tank I made in like 5 minutes, it was time to go to his concert! I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

BEDAZZLED

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! Today is a beautiful day – but very windy! But as you guys know I’m always happy when it’s cold enough to bring out my coats hehe. I’m honestly re-thinking applying to a uni in LA because if I can’t stand 80 degrees I don’t know how I’ll survive in weather down there…

I kind of regret wearing this shade of lipstick with this outfit; I realized I need to be careful with what colors I choose! I feel like this washes me out a bit and I look even more pale than I am… Youtube tutorials should do the trick on giving me knowledge of lipstick, right…?

LEAFY TREND

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! Today I’m taking my mom up to Napa for a spa/relaxing day J We’ve never been there so we’re pretty excited! If there’s any place we should go let me/us know! My mom and I aren’t huge fans of wine but maybe this trip will change that hehe.

Moving onto my outfit; I just realized my top matches my background… I wish I had a cooler place to shoot but given the fact that I’m lame I don’t know if I’ll be moving areas any time soon – also because I’m still super duper camera shy, but I’m working on that! These shoes though, they're the most comfortable thing ever. I needed some cute shoes for work but the ones I have always hurt my feet after an 8 hour shift so when I found these they have some special squishy sole things that are amazing! I could still manage to walk after my shift yesterday!

SPRING-CHELLA

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! How’s everyone doing today? I actually had to wait to take today’s OOTD pictures for the longest time because it’s been raining for the past two days! And it’s even more humid than usual so I gave up on attempting to straighten my hair!

I’ve had this kimono cardigan for a good two years now and I don’t think I’ve worn it as frequently as I’ve wanted to – I think I like finding things I don’t wear anymore and putting an outfit together again, it’s so relaxing/fun (especially when I want to avoid cleaning my room)! I'm also trying to mix coachella vibes with something more casual; let me know if it worked! I have this low-key obsession with coachella since 1) I've never been 2) I've always wanted to go and 3) I've never been able to afford to go (sigh).

Also, I just realized I forgot to take off my school mascot keychain off my purse… the animal that represents ours school is a cute lil pony J

URBAN INSPO

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! It’s very humid today – as in no sun, all clouds, but it still feels like it’s 90! Currently sipping on some Tejava to keep me cool… am I the only person who loves tea without sugar, milk, honey, or anything sweet? I just love how refreshing the bitterness is!

Anyway, onto the outfit details – I know I keep bringing this up, but I’ve been trying to look as Anthropologie as possible. There was a tank exactly like the one I’m wearing for over $70 and I wanted to buy it but because I couldn’t afford it I got the next best thing; a cheaper version of it from F21 for about $17! Working there has taught me how important it is to look the part, so as long as they can’t tell, I’m doing my best to be a walking billboard!

This is officially my new favorite necklace – it’s super affordable and I don’t have anything like it so when I saw this it was perfect to combine with an urban outfit like today’s!

BRING ON THE SUN

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! How’s everyone’s days going? J I’m going to be honest, I’m very anal retentive in such weird things such as what time I take the OOTD pictures and it has to be a certain time… and usually I’ll have shifts at work so the past 5 days have been a struggle! But now that the weather is great again, I'm in much need of a tan as you can see!

(I tried to do one of those fashion blogger poses but now it just looks like I’m smelling my armpit lol) The exciting news I wanted to tell you guys was I GOT THE INTERNSHIP AT DRESS FOR SUCCESS! I was so so so excited when the hiring manager accepted my application, it’s an amazing organization and I can’t wait to learn and be a part of the team!
