LUCK OF THE DRAW

HELLO/GOOD MORNING/GOOD EVENING! I heard that the temperature’s going to rise about 10
degrees so hopefully I’ll be able to bring out my summer pants again… but not
for today. I’m pretty sure it’s been the coldest out of the whole year!
(Look at me staring at my
wanna-be Céline bag…) Fun fact about my jacket – while studying abroad in
London, during the first week of December there was some kind of Christmas
festival on Regent street. My friend and I stopped by each store because there
was like a scavenger hunt sort of thing, and we walked into French Connection
to see that there was a draw for gift cards!
The catch was we had to
buy something, and of course I couldn’t afford anything but their perfume so I
bought a £12 mini bottle and wrote my name on an index card. The sales
associate told us to come back before closing for the drawing!
I never win anything and
the reason why I won this time was because there were 4 gift cards (two £100
cards, one £200 and one £500) and only four of us (including my friend) showed
up… Long story short, I won the £200 gift card and splurged on this £140
jacket! Mainly because I didn’t know what else to buy other than a hat and a
t-shirt that added up to £60 lol. But I adore it to this day! Probably the most
expensive thing I own!
