Today's the first day trip for us! I didn't know what to expect since I've never heard/been to Brighton before. Luck was on our side since it was actually amazing weather, I was so happy I only brought one sweater with me... 

We all met at the apartments around 8:30 (which meant I had to leave the house at 7............................) and we were to all travel together via coach (basically one of those giant tour buses).

Our journey was going to take about 2-3 hours which I was excited about since I actually love staring out my window and watching the scenery go by :)

That's the sun right there! I kept staring at it since it was just hiding behind the clouds hehe

2 1/2 hours later we arrive in this cute little sunny town!

I feel like I was in a completely different country, everywhere I looked it was breathtaking!

We were most excited about visiting the pier -- it reminded me of a prettier version of the boardwalk back i Santa Cruz back in Cali!

First we were to stop by and take a tour of the "Royal Pavilion". Again, I had no idea what to expect so we all walked around the castle before a tour guide handed out these block things that you put next to your ear.

(Whenever I try to take selfies something is wrong with my hair????????) Before we entered with Laurel and Chantel :)

I would have taken pictures of the tour but they wouldn't let us take pictures inside :( Basically it was incredible, I don't even know where to begin explaining! We learned so much about the culture and the royalty behind the palace it was spectacular. If by any chance any of you guys get the opportunity to take a stroll through here I would totally recommend it!

Next up we had about 5 hours of free time so we decided to adventure on upwards towards the pier.

(I wanted to eat here but I assumed it wasn't Gordon Ramsay's -- But I have officially put it on my bucket list to visit one of his restaurants!) 

Everyone wanted boba but I didn't trust the way they made it... LOL

I so regret not taking a step into this yogurt store!!!!! I took  a picture of it because I thought it was cute but now I actually read what it says :(

Jesus Christ my hair needs to be tamed but from left -> right is Laurel, Joyce, Laura, Me and Brenda!

I ordered some garlic bread and a strawberry banana smoothie for lunch since we all agreed we'd have fish and chips before we leave.

... So the strawberry and banana smoothie turned out purple. Let me just say it wasn't the best thing I've ever tasted. But the garlic bread was really good!

There was this one store that had the most precious stationary and etc in it!!

There was this small Japanese festival which wasn't started but open to the public, this was the biggest fountain I've ever seen!!!!

We had 30 minutes left and it was finally time to try proper fish and chips!

My expectations for this was pretty high...

And it exceeded it!!!

Okay so you probably got that the fish was amazing. Time was ticking and we didn't have time to actually spend time at the pier but we took a walk down the pebble beach! 

Notice how I said "pebble" beach?

So by now the bus driver was honking at us to get in the coach but we just had to get ice cream!!?!??@

It actually doesn't really beat the $1 cones at Mc Donalds... But it was really yummy!! Had one of the most amazing days today! I'm excited for more of the day trips to come! Until next time! :)
