Day 1: Officially getting lost...
4:42 PM"I can guarantee you that no matter how good you are with city life, EVERYONE will get lost at some point."
Let me just start out by saying I totally underestimated the underground "tube" system here. It's similar to the metro in Paris, and it looked simpler, actually.
We started the morning by waking up to creaky floorboards around 8 AM. Well actually I woke up around 7:30 and just laid on my bed wondering to myself if this -- by this I mean the London trip, was actually happening (and also checked my messages lol).
Then the real adventure began when me and Alexis (Lexi, my roomate) left at 9 and had to take the tube to get to our school. Getting there was actually really easy since there's a bus stop across from our house and it dropped us off right at the station. When we got to campus it was after walking around a bit around 10 oclock, and that's when the orientation began!
(I'm gonna skip the whole orientation because it was boring tbh) Afterwards I met Ashley (Lexi's friend) and two other girls Laruel and Chantel and we all basically hopped on the tube and headed towards their apartments to see what living there was like. We stopped by lunch at this cafe/restaurant called GARFUNKEL'S! I ordered this amazing looking (and tasting) steak burger:
and for dessert dessert Chantel and I shared a "Chocolate and Honeycomb Waffle":
Just by looking at it doesn't it make you jealous? ;) Forget about me loosing weight for walking so much, I'll balance it all out by all of these amazing foods and drinks!
Speaking of drinks, IT'S SO WEIRD TO BE 18 HERE! Well, almost 19, but you get the point. It's legal to drink and buy alcohol here!! I think that's why I was more comfortable drinking beer/cider with my friends up in the apartment than when I did with friends back at home. Probably because technically we were breaking the law in California since we had to be 21... But don't worry, it was only cider which is 4% alcohol and it was delicious!

I'm pretty lightweight so after finishing a bottle (IN MODERATION) of the mixed berry one I didn't feel a thing at all -- other than my massive asian glow kicking in... Almost everyone made fun of me for it LOL.
OH and one thing I forgot to mention was that my new friend Laurel IS A CRAZY 1D FAN YAAAY!! We talked about Eleanor and Narry for like an hour straight while the rest of the girls were smoking hookah hahah but we decided we're gonna go clubbing at FUNKYBUDDAH (where Liam/Andy goes a lot)!! I actually forgot how faw away it is but we were talking about going to a club and I was talking about Liam at the same time and the idea came up so now I'm so stoked!! I don't know when exactly we'll be going but when we do you guys will sure know about it! :)

Weather: I'm still getting use to the humidity and the weather app said it would rain all day but it was nice and shiny and HOT!! But it was still windy though. Here's a pic before I left:

And I decided my first outfit for London should be pretty simple, so I went with this (sorry for the awful lighting) but the jumper is from Forever 21, jeggings from Uniqlo and transparent rainboots from DSW!
